The Gostolai winery considers the wine as a product that is linked with tradition, history, territory and its culture.

In the last years, the wine-making industry has elaborated techniques of production which are able to make “great wines”, but destroy the grapes peculiarities. On the contrary, we try to set off the characteristics of the original fruit, which depend both on the vine and on the land where the grapes grow up, so as to otain a product easily recognizable and unique.

The wine must not be simply a commercial product, results of technology, the simple hedonistic act of satisfaction of a need.

Gostolai belives that technologies have to be used not only to construct “great wines”, often as good as trivially standard and without personality, but also to make products of great quality respecting the grapes typicalness.
